Project Description

Clean Modern Aesthetic

Extensive renovations to this modern family home in inner Melbourne yielded a significant view of the pre-existing pool/spa and tennis court. In keeping with the upgrades to its surroundings, the pool was given a tremendous facelift with a new spa, a new fully tiled interior and complete modernization of the pool equipment. The resulting renovation delivers a pool and spa with a clean modern aesthetic that will continue to look great for many years to come. The existing spa was filled in and all internals were sandblasted to prepare for the light-coloured glass mosaic tiles that line both the pool and the new internal spa with spillover to two sides. All new equipment was housed discretely in a stand-alone plant room. The rounded internal corners to the pool did not fit the new look of the home and were thus squared off. The new spa was built within the shell of the existing pool with all new pipework hidden from view. New internal steps were positioned beside the spa.
